Bareback Riding Results

The eighth round of the Bareback Riding competition at the National Finals Rodeo in the heart of Las Vegas, brought exciting results.

Jess Pope took home the first prize scoring 88.5 points on the majestic Championship Pro Rodeo’s The Crow, earning himself a hefty sum of $30,706. Jacob Lees seized the second spot with 87 points, taking home $24,268, followed closely by Rocker Shane Steiner in the third place scoring 86 points and winning $18,325.

Richmond Champion ($12,877) and Kade Sonnier ($7,924) stood fourth and fifth respectively. Keenan Hayes and Leighton Berry tied at the sixth position each grabbing $2,476. Unfortunately, Orin Larsen and Jayco Roper had no score (NS) in the round.

In terms of average leaders, Jess Pope shone the brightest with 681.5 points on eight head scoring, with Keenan Hayes closely following at 676.5 points.

Let’s not forget the world standings where ranking was as follows: First place was secured by Keenan Hayes with total earnings of $324,597, closely followed by Clayton Biglow and Jess Pope.

Steer Wrestling Results

The eighth round saw exhilarating performances. Bridger Anderson led the crew with a record of 3.3 seconds, earning him a lucrative $30,706. Jacob Talley trailed slightly behind with a time of 3.5 seconds, securing him second place and $24,268.

Average leader was Dakota Eldridge with a total of 36.1 seconds on eight head. On the world standings list, Dalton Massey was leading with earnings of $264,678.

Team Roping Results

In terms of Team Roping, Tyler Wade and Wesley Thorp were victorious in the eighth round, with staggering speeds of just 3.3 seconds, resulting in each winning $30,706. The round’s average leaders were Derrick Begay/Colter Todd, taking 60.7 seconds on eight head.

On the world standings, Clint Summers enjoyed the top spot amongst headers while Wesley Thorp led amongst heelers.

Saddle Bronc Riding Results

The eighth round in Saddle Bronc Riding was marked with high intensity and competitiveness. With a tie for the first position, Sage Newman, Zeke Thurston, and Brody Cress each scored 87.5 points, splitting the prize and each winning $24,433.

Zeke Thurston bagged the top spot amongst average leaders, with a total of 688 points on eight head. The world standings saw Zeke Thurston leading with total earnings of $344,427.

Tie-Down Roping Results

Hunter Herrin clocked 7.4 seconds to claim victory, earning him a grand $30,706. With 60.9 seconds on eight head, Haven Meged led in terms of average time. The world standings were topped by Riley Mason Webb with total earnings of $388,963.

Barrel Racing Results

Kassie Mowry stole the show in the eighth round of Barrel Racing, clocking 13.30 seconds and bagging $30,706. Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi took the lead in average times with 108.98 seconds on eight runs. On the world standings list, Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi also claimed the top spot with earnings of $427,657.

Bull Riding Results

Tristen Hutchings took the bull by the horns in the gripping eighth round, scoring a fantastic 89 points and cashing in $30,706. With 514.5 points on six heads, Ky John Hamilton took the lead in terms of average points.

The world standings were topped by the very same John Hamilton with massive earnings of $516,667.

All-Around and RAM Top Gun

Lastly, for All-Around, Stetson Dell Wright came out on top with earnings of $479,621. RAM Top Gun was closely fought and led by Ky John Hamilton with total earnings of $160,313.
